We have been up to a lot lately.

We took part in placing wreaths at the National Cemetery about twenty miles away. Very humbling and inspiring.

I volunteered to help our local independent Lego store put on Corning’s first Brick Convention. According to the Corning Museum of Glass where it was hosted, it was their largest visitor count for a weekend in several years.

An update on the office/Lego room. I have sold a lot to open up space and update to the bigger and fancier sets. The lighting really makes the sets pop.

We spent our anniversary at Letchworth State Park and stayed in the old mansion.

We were able to volunteer at a tournament our friends put on to help local charities. We got to sit at hole 6 and witness any hole in one’s to win a TV. Closest was 1’8” which was amazing to see.

Went on another hike in Orchard Park NY. Not so sure about the eternal part as they recommend bringing a lighter in case it has gone out.

We took a hiking trail on the shore of Lake Ontario and had lunch at an awesome tourist trap in the neighboring town.

We have some time off so we have been taking our parents sightseeing. We finally found the good part of Letchworth with the waterfalls and train bridge!

Finally found the time to detail our newest grocery getter. We actually got it back in January. Took the old blue one in for an oil change and ended up with this bad boy after the dealer called my bluff and gave me the insane deal I offered, figuring there was no way they would take it. Whoops

I take offense to the term “historic” as I remember seeing these cars in their prime. Seriously, the 90’s and 00’s were only like five years ago.

Not so sure about the type of neighborhood we live in with this kind hooliganism going on.

Went to Rochester for a Lego Users Group convention. Lots of creativity.

We get to be the first test customers in our niece and nephew’s new restaurant opening on 01.01.2025!

We learned that Seneca Lake is over 34 miles long, has an average width of 2 miles, average depth of 350 (640 is the deepest), and sits on a crescent salt deposit that spans Virginia to Maine and has enough salt for 600 years of US needs.

Amish tourist trap. It’s like Branson, Mo. for the aged crowd who find country and western music too Spicy!

We survived it! The men would go ahead to the next bar and get drinks for the ladies ordered. We would then de-ass the area in a life or death race to avoid the hoard.

We are volunteering at the annual fundraiser for the Clemens Center in Elmira. This year is Star Wars themed and I was able to display some of my collection.
